A natural spring (water temperature at 5 à 6 °summer & winter) feeds this lake
The lake with the most crystalline waters, the coolest in summer, the warmest in winter and carpeted with caracée moss which filters the calcium from the waters.

To the immediate right of the lake are the headwaters of the Dieue, a trout river which springs from the earth less than 300 meters upstream from the Domaine.
